The Tradescantia Zebrina is a quick growing house plant and brilliant for anyone new to indoor gardening. Grow them in bright indirect light for the best purple, silver and green variegation. A perfect addition of colour for any home. These cuttings have been propagated in water for root growth and are now ready to plant in compost. Or they can be kept in water if that’s the look if that’s the look you prefer.
The dark green colouring of this foliage is a very attractive and distinct colour, making it easy for the plant to stand out from the crowd. With this member of the Tradescantia genus, you can reap the benefits of the air-purifying qualities the plant has. It will ensure that any harmful pollutants and unwanted toxins are removed from the air, benefitting both you and the plant. This indoor plant requires you to water it so that the top soil is never dry to touch. Meanwhile, also during the watering process, you should never allow water to come into contact with the leaves as this will see them rot as time goes on.
Rooted cuttings £1.75 each
We usually plant 5-6 cuttings in a 15cm pot.
